Antique 18th Century 4 Way Grease Cruise Lamp Wrought Iron 1700’s Betty Lamp:

This antique 4 way grease lamp is 19” high from the lamp to the top of the chain and 3 ” diameter at the inside of the lamp but 4” including each corner . It is blacksmith made and has a pick hook that is 4” long.
The chain is 10” long including the hook. (Once again 19” Total when I measure the lamp, hook & chain)
The lamp pan will swivel on the hanger. It was made to burn grease, wax or oil and has 4 spouts for rag wicks.
This was probably made in the 1700’s possibly early 1800’s
This has some surface rust as to be expected for something as old as this is. Apprx 250+ years old
It is solid. Nothing has rusted through
Blacksmith did a beautiful job. All hand pounded
It really is a wonderful piece of Primitive wrought iron
