Antique 18th C Hearth HAND WROUGHT FORGED Iron DECORATED Ember TONGS Rev War--- It is very hard to find early utensils in this form - and design with the lined decoration up and down the tongs - -most likely Pennsylvania or New York or New England origin. The tongs are very nicely crafted by a blacksmith during the late 1700s or early 1800s. The tongs measure 14\" in length .
