This is a stunning antique Seth Thomas Pendulum Mantel Clock - the \"Metals\" series no. 5 from 1909, 8 day movement, runs and strikes the time every 1/2 hr. in a cathedral gong. Dependably runs the full week and keeps very good time. Good overall condition. The case is very nice, though there is a small piece of veneer that chipped off at the top. This can be fixed or stained to match the rest of the clock. The gold decal on the glass is in excellent shape. The dial is good shape with the \"Seth Thomas\" name clearly legible as is the \"Manufactured in the United States of America\"- has some natural browning with age. The original door latch is working - slight wear by the latch. Beautiful well preserved clock that runs dependably. Please examine the photos as they are a part of the description. Selling as is.
