19c. Meissen Rose Salad plate
Great porcelain plate molded with scroll and shell pressed border. Hand painted with roses.
Signed with the crossed swords Meissen mark used from 1840 to 1925. Most likely this one dates from the later of that period in 1910s. Has two scratch incised through swords, typically called 2nd rate. Completely authentic.
Measures 7-1/2" diameter.
