Great Estate find.Here we have a antique Seth Thomas schoolhouse clock that winds up.The back has a stamp of 1912 and the room number it was in.The glass face is not present and will need one.The main face is a thick paper possibly cardboard or other material and is wavy as moisture must have got to it.The wood around the glass bottom door is chipped and has been repaired at some time as seen.Also a clip to hold top glass in door is off but present.Both the face door and bottom door have wood latches to hold closed.Even latched the door has some play and not tight do to the wood damage shiwn.I wound and started pedulum and has been going and time changing.The hands have some play as there is a bent nail at end holding hands on so may not be exact on the dot time but us working.From online says these have no chime since a school clock.Not sure how many day a full wind lasts.Inside are 2 tags with the name Albert Kuenstler and on dated 1921 and one dated 923.The rest of wood body looks good with normal age marks.Looks like Mahogany but could be wrong.Measures 24\" tall x 16\" wide x 5\" front to back.Will pack well and insure.Email any questions sold as-is as seen and stated for parts or restoration
