Here is a beautiful, antique May 1916 Singer Sewing Machine, model 66-1, serial number: G5530861 in Singer\'s cabinet #6 seven drawer embossed closed case treadle cabinet. Comes with original instruction booklets for machine & cabinet. This is an Estate item from my grandmother\'s house, originally was purchased by my great grandmother & was passed on to my grandmother years ago. I can say with confidence, it\'s had just the two owners, has been properly cared for within the house (not a basement or garage), looks to me at some point it was refinished & is in pristine/mint condition. No chips, cracks or flaws in the wood cabinet, truly remarkable piece.
The actual machine needs some repair work. I\'m not sure what she might have been doing to it, but I found all sorts of small parts/pieces/couple of wires that go to it in a bag next to where it was displayed. Someone who has a working knowledge of how this is supposed to exactly be would need to take a look at all these small parts. Please feel free to ask if you need additional pictures to view all the pieces. My apologies, wish I knew how/where they belong. Otherwise, I can say the wheel turns & needle moves, so it must work. The left side bottom drawers are full of spools of thread, ya\'ll are welcome to it or I can throw it out if not needed. Machine is located in Agawam, MA, I came up from GA for my grandmother\'s funeral & was asked to stay a couple weeks & help sell some of these Estate items since I run an store; Hence the reason location shows as Temple, GA.
