There is a greatvery unusual and difficult to find metal tag postcard.

The postcard is a 1908 Skiddo comic card by Sellman Association Chicago.

Posted to Alexandria Minnesota.

For some reason it was turned into a large tag with metal frame and hole punch. Using 1895 Patent 535518 which is a process for making large tags for shipping. It is imprinted with the Patent at top and Salisbury Manufacturing Co Providence Rhode Island at the bottom.

Possibly it was made as a sales sample or just by a worker who hung it at his desk.

Very interesting and odd postcard tag.
