Dating to the late 1920s orearly1930s this raspberry silk gown has incredibledetailingalong the dropwaistline and a tieredasymmetricalhem. Thepleating andsmocking are expertly done, workmanship that you don\'t see anymore. The front left armhole and bust area areseverelytorn, there are some tears ontheleft armhole, and some holes in the back skirt area near the smocking. Inside there is some cream silk around the waistline that is starting to rip, it was most likely put in tostabilizethe weight and shape. We are selling this as is. It has not been washed by me, but does not have any odor.
