This is a very beautiful 1923 complete MAH-JONGG game.Box: The box measures 7.5\" tall, 9.5\" wide & 6.5\" deep. The board on the front of the boxs slides up and off to reveal 5 drawers with original decrative knobs. The bottom open space is for the original book. The box is nicely covered with an antique decrative fabric. On the top the colors have faded. All other sides there is a lot less wear & fading on the fabric. You can see more of the browns and orange swirls on all other sides. There is green fabric for the trim. The box is in very good condition.Counters (sticks): There are 123 of them all are in excellent condition.Tiles: There are 148 (normally the game comes and is played with 136). Tiles are \"bovine bone\" with bamboo backing. The tiles are in excellent condition.Dice: This comes with 4 very small dice (game is played with two, there are two extra). The dice is in a small bamboo box with a lid that slides open. This is in excellent condition.Mingg: This comes with one and has two disks one on each side. There are two other loose disk one is small the other is a larger size. These are in very good conditionBook: This is a second edition book. The book is by J.P. Babcock. The book is copyright 1923. First printing 1920, 2nd 1921, 3rd to 6th 1922 and 7th to 10th 1923. Book is in English and printed in USA. Front of book reads: \"MAH-JONGG The Fascinating Chinese Game\". In side reads: \"Babcock\'s Rules for MAH-JONGG Red Book of Rules by J. P. Babcock. 117 Pages including notes and memoranda. All pages are there and all are in good condition and secure to the spine of the book. On the outside there is some wear and tear of the book and there\'s some mild tearing along the top and bottom of the spine. On inside (shown in photos) there is a hand written name and address upper left corner. Overall this book is in fair to good condition.* On 8th photo on top left side is not a defect or broken/seperation spot. It is the corner of front cover. Also photo number 6 is the front of the box where the cover slides up and off, the space you see in top right and left corner is not a defect or broken corners.** I do combine shipping if more than one item is won.
