Item Description:

I know NOTHING about art, sculpture, or statuary. This item was among a lot of aviation collectibles I purchased from an estate.

I could barely find any information on others at all, but do know one was owned by an avid aviation collector, Bill Bettis and itsat in the foyer of his Nieuport 17 restaurantin Tustin, CA. His piece sold at salefor an undisclosedamount. I compared his to this one, you can find it online, it doesn\'t appearhave the brass or copper manufacturerplate in it that this one does, and this one is signed.

Another sold on Etsy.....again, no idea how how of if it was an original period piece.

It measures 26\" tall and about 22\" wide. it is a hollow piece, made in a mold.

It\'s clearly filthy and there is some damage, the worst of which is to the right ear, see picture 4, a hole in his other ear, see picture 5, and a crack at the lapel of his inner jacket, see picture 6.

There are assorted dings and scratches throughout, please check pictures carefully.

This item is being sold for local pick up only....I will not ship it, I will not pack it, the only effort I will make is to push the button on my garage door so you or you agent can take it away.
