You are checking out a super rare (as you know) original Harley Davidson wood shipping crate. It is for a generator assembly- part No. 1501-30. You can google this part and find it dates from the 1930\'s in old stock Harley/Motorcycle magazines. Clear wording on one side and the other has some paint?- smear. Crate is approx. 13\" x 11\", very solid as it had to hold the generator through shipment. Some wording on the bottom cant really make it out? This box was found in a barn in southern Wisconsin of a former Harley Davidson dealership owner!
It has not been cleaned or touched in any way! Just taken out of the barnlast week, farm fresh!Please check out the pictures again to judge condition for yourself, great piece of motorcycle history!!
