Here we have a mixed-and-matched lot of antique Marx tin lithograph/steel train and railcars, some tin-litho from the 1930\'s and others from the 1950\'s (as for which are which, we expect most people looking at this listing will know better than ourselves!). Included is the 833 wind-up steam locomotive, 553 \"Sana Fe\" railcar, 556 \"New York Central\" caboose, 73870 Pennsylvania high side gondola, 555 blue refrigerator car, and an unnumbered \"New York Central\" hopper car that appears to be carrying coal. Also included with this lot are (15) Marx railroad track sections - (4) curved, (10) straight and (1) level junction where 4 tracks can intersect.
Lightly played with overall with minor, and occasional moderate wear to the lithograph finish of the railcars and with light oxidation, scratches and scuffs consistent with long-term storage and occasional handling. The \"New York Central\" hopper car is missing it\'s front axle. Railroad tracks have moderate oxidation but are sturdy as none of the (3) ties per (14) track track sections are loose or missing, though one joining plug is bent on each of (2) curved sections and (1) curved section is without plugs. Images showing one side of the car are representitive of both sides, if anything the side not showing is in better shape.
This is a nice set for any toy collector or railroad enthusiast, and would be a fine addition to any collection.

We don\'t have a key but we tried winding it with a hex wrench and it does move a little bit grudgingly but not much. It does wind and you can force it to run by turning the key backwards, but obviously needs more attention than we\'re able to give it to run properly. Sold as-is in this regard.
