This Typewriter is made in West Germany in 1960s era and were told this is possibly a SM5 model. It comes in a unique original case with cool angles. The body of the typewriter has an ivory hue and has minor wear. The machine has a nice curvy aspect to its design. The lines on this are beautiful. All the keys do work as shown in 5th photo, but it may need oiling to keep the arms from stalling or freezing after striking the ribbon. The ribbon does work for now but its fading and may need replacement. The photos are of the actual item and have nice easy to read info plate. The unique original case has an interesting look it tapers down and doesn\'t have a uniform shape. The case has minor wear with some stains present. All of the hardware works like latches & hinges. Its about 7.5\" to 6 1/4\" thick. Front to back length is between 15 1/4\" to 14 1/4\". Its between 15\" to 14\" wide.
