Antique 19C Oil Portrait BEAUTIFUL Gypsy Woman PINK LACE Flowers by F.I LOCKWOOD:

Here is a antique oil on canvas portrait painting of a pretty Italian gypsy woman in a pink dress.The painting is framed in a newer (1930s), frame. It measures 26 x 29 ins. framed and canvas alone measures 22 x 25 1/4 ins. The painting is signed F.I. Lockwood 1853 or 63 at the bottom left. The painting is in FAIR AS IS vintage condition with some chipped paint( right eye) and in-painting and chipped paint ( left eye) on her eyes. They could be professionally restored. It also has some in-painting in her hair. There is some craquelure in spots and some wear. I love the lace shawl and the white flowers the artist added. She also has on large hoop earrings.
A perfect addition for mid to late 1800s decors.
