Handsome Design, , Free ShippingThis is an elegant antique mantel clock dating to the Victorian era of the 19th century. Carved in an eye-catching Renaissance Revival style, this wooden walnut mantel clock features a beautiful Japanesque design on the glass panel door. The wind-up mechanism chimes every half hour and the number of hours on the hour. Accompanied by a key.In overall very good cosmetic condition with minor surface scratches and tiny nicks. There is a loss of a decorative finial on the top right side. The top finial is a later replacement and exhibits small chipped losses on the sides. The grain and color of the stain on the finial does not quite match the body. Wear to the dial face, especially around the keyholes. The labels on the back are worn as pictured. The clock winds, runs and chimes normally. As with all mechanical timepieces, this clock will require regular cleaning to maintain running condition.
