We are listing today for your consideration a great Antique late 19th century Easel Monument Souvenir Lithograph from the Easel Monument Association for Discharge Papers. This lithograph is in Great Condition given it\'s age, it looks to have been framed with glass and the back board for quite some time. There is foxing in areas and some wear and minimal loss around the perimeter, some wear lines with surface loss where it had been folded at some point, you can see areas of the underlying woven back piece. You can refer to the pictures, we guarantee 100% you will be more than happy with the overall condition. The lithograph measures 31 1/2\" x 24 1/2\" x 3/4\" at the outer wood frame, the lithograph itself measures 29 1/2\" x 21 1/2\" and together with wood frame, wood backing, and glass weighs approximately 10lb 11oz. The lithograph was for David S. Shrimp, Private 24th Regl. NJ Volunteer Infantry 6/29/1863, and was presented to his wife & kids on 8/15/1898. There is hand written text stating this along with who he served under and the history of his service. This lithograph was initially sold to raise funds for a National Triangular Easel Monument, all during the late 1890\'s. The monument was supposed to be built in Bridgeport, Conn. and then moved and erected in the state that raised the most funds through sales. The monument was never built. A great unique Civil War Lithograph, with a cool antique painted advertisement board on the back. It would make a great addition to anyone\'s collection or home.
