Antique Americana & Folk Art 19th Century Dome Top, Tole Ware, Tin Document Box in Very Good ConditionSolid, with minor rust on the interior,( see photos ), no broken corners, wear appropriate to it\'s age, with excellent hand painted decorationHandsome shape, with a very nice aged brass handle on topit measures 9+1/4\" inches long, approximately 5+1/2\" inches wide, 6+3/8\" inches high at the height of the domeThe fact that the paint is in such good repair leads me to believe that it may have been repainted, but it\'s clearly an old finish, with an extremely fine craquelure finishReally a beautiful piece with a classic American Antique tole design
