RARE 19th c. finely detailed perforated paper needle book with pencil drawings on each side.

During the early to mid 1800s, this type of needle book was given as a token of friendship or love.

This book features unusual and charming landscape pencil drawings of a castle on both sides.

Possibly two different perspectives of the same site.

Wool \"pages\" are hand stitched around edges.

Charming gem from the second quarter of the nineteenth century.

Circa: 1840s

Condition:

VERY GOOD

No tears or holes to bristol board.

No markings to board or drawings.

Silk ties are intact.

Holes to inside wool pages.
