Up for the sale is a beautiful antique 19th century Qi\'ing dynasty Chinese embroidered silk panel/ hanging.
On a cream silkmaterial embroidered in bright multicolored and golden metallic threads using satinstitches and couching technique (golden threads).
Features a female figure (Immortal ?) standing beside a bridge andpavilion and bearing a banner saying Jile Shijie(Pure Land) under a tree.
Was probably a part of a bigger piece.
Unlined.
Extremely finely worked piece- just look at the pictures!
The panel measures 92\" (234 cm) long x 79\"(201cm) wide.
Condition:good antique condition overall, considering the old age of the piece,with no visibledamages orimperfection aside some general staining and signs of age. Bleeding to the colors of the embroidered threads on the silk background material in one spot (see pictures).
