This is a really unusual antique object, perhaps a watch fob?

It\'s about 11\" long and has a unmarked but tested 14K gold clasp that attaches to the stags head. This clasp weighs about 0.9 grams solid 14k.

The other gold colored elements are not gold, but perhaps gold filled?

They consist of a conical cap with ring, a center cask or keg charm, a really fine glass keg or cask with metal straps, and a stag head with antlers.

The center gold colored keg is monogrammed \"K. Sch.\" (I think).

Everything is connected together by a brown fabric woven strap.

The piece is about 11 inches long (not including the clasp and ring) and the little glass keg is about 5/8\" long.

Condition seems good to me. Some of the gold filled pieces have areas of wear. The brown weave strap looks good as well, and the little glass cask is in really nice condition and displays outstanding craftsmanship!!!

It looks really old to me, perhaps 19th century. Possibly civil war, because of the two (Powder ?) casks/kegs?

I\'m guessing this is a watch fob, but could be something else? A dog collar?
