This painting in Neo-classical style, which flourished between l760-l840, depicted pleasant Pastoral scenery.
The painting is in excellent condition, protected with glass. Measures 9 3/4\" x 13 1/4\" - 24.7 x 33.7 cm (visible part).
Framed in Florentine gilt wood frame. The frame shows its age with a few small tight cracks at the very edge and a one chips on the inner edge, otherwise fine. The frame measures - 15\" x 18\" (38 x 45.7 cm).
