Often misidentified online as a \"Turkish Sword\" or a \"US Cadet Yataghan Sword\" this is actually a post American Civil War short sword manufactured by the Ames Sword Company (Chicopee, MA). It is listed on page 115 of the 1882 Ames Sword Catalog as #335 Grecian Sword. Hilt is solid brass. 22.5\" yataghan style blade is bayonet quality steel, in nearly pristine condition. 28\" overall length including hilt.Shipping is UPS only.
