Very sweet late 19th c. MINIATURE 4-3/4\" x 3-1/4\" needlework sampler on punch paper.

An upper and lowercase alphabet is complimented by a horse with hearts,

with the name Ellen Horn and initials J.H.

Framed in a beautiful 19th c. gilt wood and gesso frame with hand painted stripes.

Charming gem from the last quarter of the nineteenth century.

Circa: Late 19th c.

Condition:

VERY GOOD

Needlework in excellent condition.

No stitch loss or holes.

Overall wear on frame appropriate to age.

Foxing in lower right of mounting board

and some spots to punch paper.
