Antique 19th century J P Cutts telescope signed J.P. Cutts, Sutton & Sons:

This telescope was found in the attic of my 90 year old grandma\'s house. She doesn\'t know where it came from or how it got to her house. With some search with Google and asking area Universities and astronomy clubs, we have not been able to find one exactly like this. The maker, JP Cutts Sutton and Sons is easily found with a Google search and other items have been listed on , but again, nothing that looks like this telescope.

Not pictured is a large wood tripod that goes with this. The wood box is included as well. There is also paper work that is dated May of 1900 and gives coordinates of stars that were looked at. All hand written.

The telescope is 2 feet long. The tripod is 56 inches long or a little over 4.5 feet. I have taken a photo of the telescope on the tripod. If you would like to receive this photo I can send it to you by request. wont let me add any more photos or I would post it to this listing.
