We are listing today for your consideration a lovely Antique late 19th to early 20th century Hand Made Round Open Swivel Handle Small Wood Nantucket Basket. This basket is in Excellent Condition given it\'s age, there are some areas of loss to the weave, on the body there is 1 small hole at the one side, about 3/4 of the top rim outer weave is missing, and slight surface wear to the base and handle. The basket is 100% secure and sound. You can refer to the pictures, we guarantee 100% you will be more than happy with the baskets overall condition given it\'s age, we are leaning toward this being a late 19th century piece. The basket measures 7 1/4\" tall at the handle x 4 1/8\" tall at the top rim x 5 3/4\" in diameter at top rim x 2 15/16\" at the footed base and weighs approximately 2.6oz. Wonderful bent wood swivel handle, all the nails are hand forged brass pegs along with the handle hardware, the handle slot that goes into the basket body is wood.
