Antique 19thC Beautiful Rare Tall Hand-Painted Tole Candleholder / Candlestick:

This sale is for an early 19th century tole painted candlestick with beautiful hand-done decoration. The base is decorated with a dainty border of grapevines. The candlestick is 9 inches tall and the base is 6 inches in diameter. We did not try to clean it as we did not want to do any damage to the paint decoration. It is a mellowed toned yellow with black decoration. The knob for raising and lowering the candle is in working order and the graceful handle is lovely. (The last photo was taken with a flash, the others were not.) This may be a French piece but we cannot say.Please review the photos for condition and ask any questions you may have.
