Antique 19thC Vieux Paris Porcelain Scenic Compote Dish Porzellan Schale Scene:

For sale is a nice eight sided compote or raised serving dish made by one of the Paris makers in the early 19th century. It is hand painted with a good quality landscape scene in the center, a nice orangey ground colored rim with some gold trim. The scene is in the typical Paris fashion. The dish is in good condition with some wear to the gold trim and a small chip to the underside mostly of one corner. As is the norm the piece is unmarked except for some incised letters. The piece is 2.625 inches tall and 8.75 inches from corner to corner in diameter.
