This clock is a beautiful antique 19thc French gilt spelter and blue hand painted sevres porcelain panel classical figural mantle clock with the clock case being fully refinished and looks stunning wherever it is displayedThe case features a classical lady figure standing to the left hand side beside the drum with an anchor to the drum and rope and other sea motifs. The case also features superb hand painted porcelain panels to base with decorated hand painted floral scenes which give it an awesome display lookThe case has been fully refinished, the gold colour looks very good, the case is in great conditionThe clock features a high quality porcelain sevres blue dial with roman numerals and original hands. The dial is in great condition for age with only a couple of very tight hairlinesThe movement is also of high quality being an 8 day bell striking movement which strikes the bell on the half and full hours counting the hours on the hour. The movement is in full working order keeping time and striking when it should with its original french pendulumThe clock measures on its stand 12 inches high x 10.5 inches wide x 4 Inches deepThis is a perfect investment clock and a beautiful display piece.
