This listing is for a 1st quality Meissen teapot with 2 cups and saucers. The teapot measures 6 inches or 15.2 cm high to the top of the handle and is 9 ½ inches or 24.3 cm wide from handle to spout. The cups measures 3 ¾ inches in diameter at the top rim, the saucers are 5 ¾ inches or 14.6 cm in diameter.
The pieces have a high white glaze porcelain with shades of magenta glaze in floral designs. The pieces are further enhanced with heavy applied gold highlights. They are marked on the bottom with the crossed swords of Meissen with a dot between the blades, which dates the pieces the late 1920’s to early 1930’s. These pieces are first quality porcelain with no hash marks near or on them.
