This antique ice cream (or butter, custard, pudding, etc.) mold is finely hand-carved in the shape of a pineapple. It\'s made of two halves which fit together, held in place by wooden pegs, with a large pour hole on one side. I would guess this piece dates from the late 19th century. It\'s in good condition, with fairly minimal wear and a few bug/worm holes. (It\'s not actively infested with bugs. The same holes were present when I bought this piece decades ago and have not increased in number.) When the two halves are put together, the outside dimensions of the mold are approximately 4\" x 3.5\" x 3.5\".
