Antique 27\" (69cm) Gorgeous Bru Jne 10 French Bisque Bebe doll in Gorgeous outfit circa 1885!
27\" Fantastic Bru Jne in a fabulous size ten. Bisque swivel head on kid-edged shoulder plate with sculpted bosom and shoulder blades. Plus Bru Jne on the back of the head with her size number of 10.
Shoulder plate is marked No.10 on one side and Bru Jne on the other side. Original Bru paper label on front of body. Marked size 10 Bru leather shoes with dolls original socks.
Almond shaped blue glass paperweight eyes with spiral threading, delicately painted upper and lower lashes with finely feathered hand painted brows. Dark eyeliner encircle eyes, accented corners of eyes, nostrils and closed mouth with outlined lips with the illusion of a tongue tip dimple in chin. Antique brunette mohair wig over cork pate.
Original 3 seam front and back kid leather body is in excellent condition. Kid over wooded upper arms, with finely sculpted bisque lower arms. One pinkie on the dolls right arm has had a pinky finger repair, I think it was cracked and glued back on but you would never notice it. There is a picture of me pointing at it. You have to roll down past the description at the very bottom to see the pictures.
Exquisite antique soft burgundy dress with lace trim, rushed at waist, antique slip and platelet. Luxurious matching burgundy bonnet with lace accents also in excellent condition. The bisque looks like it is in different colors in the photograph but they are all the same pinkish color.
This doll is a dream come true and is in very excellent condition !!! Very clean from a non smoking Environment.
