This wonderful engraved art glass decanter was hand blown and hand cutvia \"cameo\" or \"cased & cut\"*methodology by LPW Famosain 1920s, 1930s Austria.
Very elegant item to add to your bar, curio or table decor.The original manufacturer\'s label is still affixed tothe underside (see photos).
Measurement is approx: 3\" across bottom diameter X10.5\" H, capacity is about 24 fl. ounces (.75 liter).We findthisexquisitedecanterto be in excellent as-new condition with no defects or damage noted...stopper is missing.
*The glass artwork started with applying a double overlay of two different glass colors over the base glass. The double overlay results in 3 layers of glass;the inner layer white, the center layer amber and the outer layerachestnut color. The art was then created by meticulously cutting through the outer layer to the center layer to produce thestunningtextured engraving. The white and amber layers result in the chestnut color.
