Antique 40s Stoneware Pottery Old Spice Ship Friendship Shaving Mug Soap & Brush:

This is an antique Old Spice \"Ship Friendship\" shaving mug. This mug is 70 years old!!!!.This has glaze crackling throughout the glaze. The mug stands 2 7/8\" high. The top diameter is 3 1/4\", the bottom diameter is 3 5/16\". The soap and brush that are pictured are included. I do not know if these were the originals or not, but this is what was with it in my father\'s collection. There are no chips or cracks (aside from the glaze crackles). The bottom of the mug has pressed lettering. The words on the bottom of the mug are \"Early American\" then the middle is a script \"Old Spice\" in the center with a rope border around it and with \"Made in USA\". This was made by Hull Pottery for Old Spice between 1941 and 1944. It is the 3rd and last mug made by Hull. In 1944 Shulton switched to Wheaton Glass to make their bottles and shaving mugs.Please email with questions before considering.
