This 8 day E. Ingraham Black MantelClock is in very good antique condition.
The wood case is painted black enameledand features an incised design on the front of it.
Overall wood is in very good condition, stable with a fewminor dings along back edge, nothing really allthat significant, for a clock that is almost 150 yrs old!
Clock also features a fast and slow adjustmentwheel with ornate brass center ring.
Clocks movement has been professionally cleaned, oiledand adjusted.Movement features E. Ingrahams name and alsopatent dates on 1878, and 1879.
Included with clock is it orig ornate pendulum bob
A large portion of the orig. paper labelremains on back of case, see photo.Also back of case features handwriting, possibly of dateswhen clock was serviced. See photo.
Clock features a beautiful sounding cathedral gong,that gongs once every half hour, and then on the hourit gongs to the time!See video below!
The clocks original paper label is in good conditionwith some spotting from age. Dial is signed with theIngraham Name.
Clock key included, newer but appropriate fit for the clock.
This is a sharp looking clock,and it appears to be a happy running clock!
