Offered with andstarting atour usual low price is this fine quality wine or champagne bottle holder/coaster (there is also enough room around a wine bottle for ice chips/crushed ice - see pictures).

It is silver plated/epns and was produced by ATKIN BROTHERS of Sheffield and bears the mark as pictured, together with the catalogue/shape number 2882and, from research, I have managed to find out thatAtkins numbers under 5191 probably date to BEFORE 1900and the fleur-de-lys mark was used from c1890, so I believe this dates to c1890-1900. It is beautifully chased and has shell type decoration to the top and bottom - a really nice quality piece.

SIZE - Pictures are MAGNIFIED to show detail, so please judge sizeby measurements as this may look a littlelarger than it actually isIt measures approximately 5 1/2 inches in height x 4 1/2 inches rim diameter x 5 1/4 inches base diameter.

CONDITION VERY GOOD on the outside withno noted wear andjustsome minor marks andsurface scratches commensurate with age and use. The INSIDE of the bucket has WEAR to the bottom and for about 1 inch up the inner walls (see pictures), but this really won\'t affect the display or use of it. The baseis very slightlydistorted from the weight of bottles (very very minor and only mentioned for total accuracy - it doesn\'t even show in the pictures of the base)
