Absolutely beautiful piece of american history here. Size 16\" L x 11\" W, framed afro american art print. The frame appears to also have been used as a serving tray (see photos). The print itself is very unique, shows children playing - one of them wearing a union solider cap, one child eating watermelon. I am not a professional art appraiser, but it is safe to say this is easily over 100 years old. Due to the nature of the print itself, probably closer post civil war era. The frame itself is wood with blue and gold trim, glass in good shape. Photos do not do this piece justice.
