Antique mid 19th Century American Empire period mahogany butlers chest of drawers, c1850. Rectangular top over a large upper drawer opening and flipping down to reveal a fitted desk interior with green felt surface over 3 inset smaller drawers flanked by scroll columns and standing on a scroll foot. Chest is in a heavily used condition with scuffs, scratches and dings all over. Fully functional drawers. Chest has great potential with the flame mahogany veneers on drawer fronts.Measurements: 22 inches deep X 43 1/2 inches wide X 45 1/2 inches high.
