The back of the tile has the impressed words \"AMERICAN ENCAUSTIC ZANESVILLE WORKS NEW YORK\".

The Tile measures approximately 18 inches in length and 6 inches in height and 3/4 in thickness.

The Tile has some loss - mostly to one end - please see photos -the chipping isapproximately 1 1/2 inch from the end of the tile -I believe this end could be cut offand not compromise the embossed picture.

The Tile has crazing and has a weight of approximately 2307 grams.
