Description and Condition:

You are offerding on an early 1900sAmerican made Sessions mantle/shelf 8-day clock, which gongs on the half hour and chimes on the hour. The clock has a Wedding Presentation Plaque dated 2ndSeptember 1919 attached to the front and the Sessions Clock Co. was formed in 1903 so we can assume it was made between 1903 and 1919.

We have had this clock checked and appraised by Heritage Jewellers a local seller and repairer of heritage clocks. It is valued at $1800 and the quote to repair the clock was $450 but obviously if purchased by a restorer this would be a further saving.

My elderly client advises that he is not prepared to outlay the money to have it repaired so at this time is not working, and as such, is being sold “as is” as a collector’s piece only so please ask any questions before placing your offers.
