Thesepretty sterling silverhandled scissors have ornately embossed scroll and flower designs ontheshanks and bows. They aremarked \"Sterling\" and have the makers mark for the Whiting Mfg. Co. ofProvidence, RI.The blades are stamped \"Germany\". MostAmerican companies in the 19th century bought their blades fromGermany.

Thesteel blades are tight with intact points and no rust and they cutbeautifully. Thecondition of the silver is excellent with no dents, splits or otherdamage. Theymeasure 3 3/4\" long.
