Here is a recent estate find. This is a Antique 19th Century Elegant Black Marble Cast Iron Mantel Shelf Clock, Made by the Ansonia Clock Co. New York NY USA. This has a Round Signed Ansonia Brass Mechanical 8 Day Time & Strike Key Wind Movement, which is Signed \"Ansonia Clock Co. Patented A New York USA\". This has a Cathedral Coil Spring Gong Chime which Strikes Once on the Half Hour, and the Correct Amount of Times On The Hour. The Case is a Fancy Pillar Column Heavy Black Case with Stunning Brass Accents. With beautiful brass dogs on each side. The Dial is a Two Piece Porcelain Dial with Open Escapement, and Fancy Bezel with Heavy Beveled Glass. The Clock measures approx. 17\" Wide x 10 1/2\" Tall x 7 1/4\" Deep, and is Very Heavy and Weighs Almost 45 Pounds!!! The Clock is Key Wound, and includes a Winding Key and Correct Adjustable Pendulum.
