Nice antique Ansonia \"Prism\" model crystal regulator clock. Solid brass case with four panels of beveled glass. All original and in nice shape. Movement is 8-day time and half-hour and hour strike. It is of the rack and snail variety, or \"repeating\" type. The porcelain dial is in good shape with no damage that I can see, The dial has the outside Brocot visible escapement. The pendulum is a faux-Mercury two-vial type. Clock comes with a key. After I bought this clock, I had it running at home for a week, and it didn\'t miss a beat. Of course, after shipping, it might need an adjustment or two, so running condition is not guaranted. However, I do guarantee the movement is complete with no missing or excessively worn parts, and that it will run after servicing. The clock is not marked Ansonis, because it bears a logo of a jeweler or store which sold the clock as it\'s own brand. If you look up this model on Ly\'s Ansonia book, page 126, you will see that it\'s identical. Made circa 1914. 10 3/4\" high x 63/8\" wide x 4\" deep. I am told by a buyer that the \"JOB\" logo is that of the Jennings Brothers Clock Company.
