This nicely preserved 1870s mantel clock measures an impressive 19” tall with dome; 17” to top of dial x 14” wide x 8” deep and retains original surfaces on the metal and wood. The mirror shows clouding from age and the dome has a chunk broken out and taped back with old cellophane tape; it is not cracked. You will note replaced paper dial (but still old) and old solder repairs re-attaching the dial. The movement was cleaned some time ago and the clock runs for about ½ hour before stopping.
