For Sale: Antique Ansonia Tambour WestminsterChime Clock
Beautiful Ansonia Westminster Chime Tambour Clock. All Original except for the Winding and Speed Adjustment Keys. Some photo\'s were taken with and without the flash to see the clock at different angles in a different light.
Model- Ansonia No. 3 Tambour. Circa 1920\'s. Finish is walnut or mahogany. I lean towards walnut but I am not an expert on types of wood. Case is structurally solid. There are a couple of small and I mean very smallindentations on the right side but they were so small they won\'t even show up on a photo. Finish is beautiful. Silvered Dial has a few minor imperfections (photo # 7) but looking straight on at the dial it look\'s fine. Glass on the bezel is original with the small beveled edge around theperimeter. Bezel opens and closes smooth and closes with a snap. Door on back open\'s and closes smooth and has the original metal label on the inside of the back door. Movement has been overhauled and has been tested for 2 months and keep\'s perfect time and has a beautiful chime. New Key\'s included. In my opinion the Ansonia No. 3 is one of the best American Tambour clocks ever made.
As with all clocks that I sell I would prefer local pick-up but I know most of the time that is not possible. I will deliver and set-up within a 50 mile radius of Waynesboro PA.with a prearranged reasonable price. As with all antique clocks it is possible some adjustments may be needed after shipping. Please plan to have a professional make any adjustments and show you how to set the time properly. If you know about how these clocks operate then you know what shipping can do to a clock getting bounced around. I will pack your clock professionally and take any precaution to make sure you receive your clock in the shape that you bought it. 90% of the time I use SmartPost for shipping because the cost is more reasonable than USPS and I have never had one problem with them. Itusually takes 2 to 8 business days through SmartPost to receive your clock. If it will be a differentcarrier I will notify the customer.
If you have any questions or would likeadditional photos please ask.
