Here is a great clock for your buying consideration. Recently acquired it at an estate sale. Would make a great gift or keep it for yourself.

Beautiful old Ansonia clock. This is the Parisian model. Label is still on the back of the piece, it is darkened.

Nice wood case on this clock. The three finials are there. There is one on the top and then two that hang down from the sides. There is only one of the finials that hand upside down still with the clock. Forgot to put it in the pics. The top finial has a couple of chips out of the very delicate thin carving on it. Probably was a carved image glued to the case above the face that is no longer there.The case is probably made walnut. The paper swing label is still in place inside the clock door as well. The wood door is securely attached to the case by its\' hinges. The lock latch for the door is in place and working.Interesting glass on the piece, has the Ansonia name on it. There is the image of a bird, a cob web and then branches and leafing on the glass. No cracking or blistering. Check how the gong unit also has the Ansonia name on it.Looks to be the original paper face on the clock. Has the Ansonia logo noted in the middle of the face. The hands match and look appropriate to the clock. The barrel pendulum is just beautiful. Interesting in that it hangs on a side angled hook instead of one facing forward.Beautiful double barrel pendulum on this clock. The clock has been running for a couple of days now. The movement needs a good cleaning from years of not being used.. Have not had it long enough to remove the face and take a look at the movement and give it an oiling. The clock strikes the hours on the hour. The strike mechanism does operate. The springs on the clock both feel sound when keyed. The clock will come with a vintage wind key. The clock is being sold in running and striking condition.The clock stands 23.75\" tall, by 13.5\" across, by 4.75\" wide. Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures.

As can be expectedwhen dealing with an antique clock, some adjustments may be needed aftershipping to get the clock re-running correctly again as they can be verydelicate. If you have not had experience with old mechanical clocksbefore, I would suggest you steer clear. One really needs to have thepatience, and skill to work with these great works of art. They are notour modern plug in and go, or change the battery clocks. Please ask anyquestions relating to this matter, before you decide to purchase it.

We are shipping vintage/antique items that are fragile and requirespecial care.

We also obtain insurance on any item that was bought for $50or more, and require signature on delivery for items that are valued at over$200. Plus we have to pay the 11.75% ofthe final value and shipping fees that and PayPal charges.

Returns Policy

Returns are accepted by seller within 14 days of receipt of item by buyer. The Buyer will be assessed a $30 restocking fee should they decide to return this item for whatever the reason..
Please note that a restocking fee is charged toto cover costs related to the loss of listing time and other potential sales, plus the amount of care and time that goes into preparing our unique and fragile items for shipping.
In compliance with \'s buyer protection program, the purchase price plus original shipping costwill berefunded to the buyer once the item has beenreceived by the seller, minus the $30 restocking fee noted.
Buyer would pay for thereturn shipping cost and any applicable insurance cost (item is buyer\'s financial responsibility until safely returned to the seller).
