This is a rare, stunning Antique Victorian style Ansonia \"Racine\" cast iron mantle clock with a Gold Gilt finish in perfect working order. This is an early 1900\'s model that is 11 1/4 tall x 14 1/2 wide. It has a round brass mechanical 8 day \"Time and Strike\" key wound movement, and an adjustable pendulum. It has a cathedral coil spring gong chime and a porcelain face dial. It\'s signed Manufacturer Ansonia Clock Co New York USA also signed on the porcelain dial. It\'s highly detailed with the figure Racine, a Victorian Scholar who\'s sitting on an ornate stool with a book in his hand and his right foot is also on a book with his heel resting on a scroll. Highly collectible brand. Gold gilt is worn in a couple spots, see picture 11 and 12. Clock is very heavy, weighs 12 1/2 lbs.
