Antique Arctic Ingraham 8 Day Wind Up OrnatePendulum Gingerbread / Rooster Alarm Clock Circa: 1890 – 1910. Arctic Ingraham originalpaper label on the back remains present manufactured by: E. Ingraham Co., Bristol,Conn, U.S.A. It is commonly referred to asa GingerbreadKitchen Clock. There is a layered platform base withrolled carving centered within the layers of the base. It has phenomenal,highly decorative scroll wood work that is very finely detailed and inbeautiful antique condition with carved beaded design work that surroundsthe glass opening. The glass features elaborate floral & art nouveau golddecal design work. The clock comes with original ornate pendulum with a castlescene in the center medallion & replacement key. The dial is an antique white with gold tonebezel with black, ornate hands and Roman numerals. The alarm center is in a goldstarburst. The back has the original Arctic Ingraham label. The clock sounds with a distinctive\"echoing gong\" once on the half hour, and \"gongs\" the fullnumber on the hour. It has a very deep, resonant tone. This stunning largemantel shelf Gingerbread clock measures: 23\" tall x 14 3/4\" wide atthe top & base and 4 3/4\" deep. Condition: this clock is in beautifulantique condition. This clock wasserviced and cleaned by a professional clock repair person and is in fullworking order. I have had this clock running in my home and it runsbeautifully, keeping great time.
