For sale is a lovely antique pocket watch chain. This chain is made of really ornate links of alternating 14 karat yellow and white gold. The links are quite unusual, and seem to be made of gold framing around gold rope pieces. The chain is marked 14K twice; once on the interior of the clasp on one side, and then on the side of the other clasp. This chain weighs 6.8 grams and is 13.5\" long. It has a transitional (sort of partway between traditional and art deco) art deco look to it, so I believe it was made in the 1910-1920 era, and is a very early example of art deco jewelry.
