Lovely antique Victorian era embossed daisies heart shaped trinket or jewelry box. This gorgeous box comes from the estate of an avid collector, who had an eye for beautiful boxes like this one. Not sure of the maker, this piece is only marked \"107\". This is a lovely piece that\'s in great condition for it\'s age. From the research that I have done, most of these older boxes were made of spelter and then washed with copper, bronze, or brass. A lot of the finish wears off, so sometimes collectors repaint or re-finish them. The lining will need replaced, as you can see. There are signs of wear from usage and age. Please look closely at the pictures, as they show the condition and detail better than can be described. It measures 3 1/8\" high by 3 1/2\" wide across.
