Wonderful antique rose gold-filled Art Deco double photo locket pendant with celluloid frames and screw-on top. This lovely pendant/locket is 1 1/8\" in diameter and weighs approximately 6.5 grams. It has a celluloid frame/window both front and back, both of which are original to this piece. The celluloid covers old prints of Mother Mary (I believe) on one side and Baby Jesus on the other, though the Baby Jesus was set in somewhat askew. This locket has a screw-on top that can be removed to allow the locket to open like an accordion (side to side) to remove or replace the pictures. The screw-on portion holds firmly. This locket is in very good condition for its age. Both celluloid windows are in good shape, though are somewhat abraded on the surface. The gold-filled metal portion is in wonderful condition with no damage aside from oxidation and minor surface wear commensurate with age. I just love this piece!
